As part of NECHE’s 2024 Annual Meeting, the Commission seeks proposals from our members for concurrent sessions.

The NECHE 2024 Annual Meeting will take place Wednesday, December 4 through Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, MA.

There are approximately 500 attendees at the Annual Meeting. Many of the concurrent sessions are led by participants from NECHE’s member institutions. This year, we are inviting member institutions to submit a multi-institution concurrent session proposal for inclusion on this year’s agenda.

We invite you and your colleagues to review the criteria and guidelines below.

Please note that this year we will only include proposals that include 2 or 3 institutions.

The proposal deadline is April 12, 2024.

Annual Meeting Themes

Proposals should align with one of the following themes:

  • Innovation: Implementing innovative curricular/co-curricular approaches;
  • Student Learning and Success: Improving student success and/or developing a culture of evidence-based decision making through assessment and institutional research efforts;
  • Institutional Learning and Effectiveness: improving organizational effectiveness through various initiatives such as strategic planning; diversity, equity, and inclusion, addressing campus climate; and administrative/financial management;
  • AI and Technology: redesigning experiences across the organization (academic affairs, student affairs, administration) through the integration of AI and other technologies

If your proposal does not fit into one of these themes, you will have an opportunity to propose an additional theme as part of the submission process.
