As president of this venerable organization, I’m convinced the best way I can fully understand the challenges and unique strengths of the schools that we serve is to see our institutions for myself, talk to their leaders, and even visit with students. This endeavor has given me the chance to learn about the extraordinary work going on at colleges and universities across New England and with our international institutions, during these extraordinary times of challenge and change. It’s also an opportunity to reach out to our members and share some of my evolving thoughts about where accreditation is going. Finally, I’m always eager to continue to nurture the helpful, supportive personal relationships that have always characterized the NECHE organization.
